Welcome to Huntersville Christmas Lights! This is a Christmas light display that my wife and I set up at our home in Huntersville, NC, for all to enjoy during the holiday season.
The 2013 premiere is tonight (Friday, Nov 29th) and the show runs through New Years Eve. Tonight you will hear 2 songs and sound clips from Christmas Vacation (8min 5sec show) and we are working on the third song this weekend (2min 3 sec).
This year’s display features 7x more animation, 7’ tall Bethlehem Star, 4 colors on the roof, color washing on the house, 11 giant snowflakes and a nativity scene.
It took seven weekends to put up and more than 15 hours of programming the lights to music. The show is synchronized to Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Wizards of Winter" and William Joseph's "Carol of the Bells" along with sound bites from "Christmas Vacation" and "Elf."
The display is located at 13513 Melrose Meadow Lane in the Harvest Point subdivision off Old Statesville Road in Huntersville.
For everyone’s safety, the show does not run in heavy rain
The last show is on New Years Eve
